Hose Pole Fueling Assemblies

Hose pole assemblies are used to fuel natural gas vehicles in applications such as fleet fueling stations, industrial operations, and high-volume commercial use, where tailored designs and configurations are necessary to meet unique fueling demands.

Hose pole assemblies are ideal for filling multiple vehicles during extended periods, reducing the demand for high gas flow rates and lowering compression equipment costs. Additionally, time-fill systems can capitalize on lower electricity rates during off-peak hours. They are particularly well-suited for centrally fueled fleets, such as school buses, refuse vehicles, and utility service vehicles, providing reliable and economical fueling solutions.

Time-Fill Fueling Poles

Time-fill poles are equipped with a fill hose and nozzle that connect the fueling system to vehicles, typically refueling them over a 6 to 14-hour period while they are not in use. An external time-fill panel automatically shuts off the system once fueling is complete.

Fast-Fill Fueling Poles

A fast-fill post is similar to a time-fill post except that it is dedicated to filling one vehicle at a time. A separate outlet from the valve panel controls the gas flow to the fast-fill post.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is CNG safe to use for refueling?

+

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a safe and environmentally friendly fuel option for vehicles. It is non-toxic, has a higher ignition temperature than gasoline, and includes an odorant for easy leak detection. CNG is stored in high-pressure cylinders that meet stringent safety standards. Additionally, our CNG fueling dispensers are equipped with advanced station monitoring systems and safety protocols to ensure a secure refueling experience. By following proper safety guidelines and maintenance procedures, users can enjoy the benefits of CNG while minimizing risks.
How does CNG compare to diesel?

+

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a cleaner and more environmentally friendly fuel option compared to diesel. It produces significantly fewer greenhouse gases and pollutants, contributing to improved air quality. CNG is often more cost-effective, providing savings at the pump.
What types of vehicles can use CNG?

+

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is an excellent fuel option for trucks and buses, significantly reducing emissions while providing cost savings. Many delivery trucks and box trucks can be powered by CNG, making them ideal for commercial use. Public transit systems increasingly rely on CNG buses to enhance air quality in urban areas. By utilizing CNG, these vehicles contribute to a cleaner environment while maintaining performance and efficiency.
Can CNG dispensers dispense Renewable Natural Gas?

+

Yes, CNG dispensers can dispense Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), as they are interchangeable. RNG is produced from organic materials and is chemically similar to conventional CNG. This means that fueling stations equipped for CNG can also provide RNG without any modifications. Using RNG can further reduce greenhouse gas emissions, making it an even more sustainable fuel option for vehicles.
What do I need to know before using a CNG Dispenser?

+

Before using a CNG dispenser, it's important to familiarize yourself with the equipment and follow all safety precautions, such as ensuring your vehicle is turned off during refueling. The fueling experience is similar to traditional fuel, with comparable fueling times, making it easy to transition to CNG.
